Match the account and due date
The 2026 due date was July 2, including claiming an eligible Home Owner Grant. That date has passed as of this guide’s October check. For current balances, use MyCity or contact Revenue Services rather than assuming the notice total is still the balance.
In online banking, choose Maple Ridge’s tax option and enter the folio or roll number without spaces or dashes. Allow at least two business days. Metered utility bills have a separate payment account.

Payment methods and charges
MyCity and city eServices accept Visa or Mastercard with a non-refundable 2% merchant fee. Third-party Paymentus allows $5,000 per tax transaction and adds its own convenience fee. Multiple transactions are possible.
City Hall accepts debit, cheque, card or cash up to $5,000. Weekday hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., excluding statutory holidays. Card payments at the counter also have the 2% fee.

Cheques, grants and deferment
The cheque drop box is in the wall at the west corner of the Economic Development office beside City Hall. Never put cash there. Add the remittance slip or a clear account reference. Payments are on time only when received by the city.
A Home Owner Grant must be claimed each year if eligible; payment does not claim it automatically. Provincial tax deferment is a separate loan program. The city says deferred applicants must still pay utility services on the tax notice and apply/claim by the due date.
