Compare the three routes
Income-based applicants must be Maple Ridge residents, with a primary applicant at least 19 and household income within the city’s stated Statistics Canada before-tax cutoff. Study and visitor visa holders are excluded.
The financial route offers 75% off selected admissions, or 90% off drop-in and ten/twenty passes when income is below $18,000, excluding post-secondary students from that higher tier. It also offers 50% off registered program fees to a maximum spending of $300.

Care, disability and excluded programs
Children and youth aged 0 to 18 in specified government guardianship can receive 50% off selected admissions and 25% off programs, with maximum annual spending of $150. Disability-based support provides those same listed discounts with required evidence of a temporary or permanent disability. These routes support the eligible individual, not the whole household.
Excluded programs include private swim lessons, high-performance camps, partner programs above $299.99, licensed after-school care and employment certification. Discounts are not universal.

Evidence, submission and renewal
Ordinary financial evidence includes an address bill and income proof for everyone contributing to household income. PO boxes are not accepted for residency proof. Third-party adjudicated applications do not need the usual income and address documents; the professional completes the verification section. Children in care must use that process.
Apply online or submit paper documents at the Leisure Centre. Staff return originals after making copies. Review normally takes up to ten days, or fourteen with extra screening. The pass lasts a year from approval. Reapply each year and use the phone number on the application to access your account.
